Fruity Life

Today we tried another 2 dishes.  Both of us cooked one of them.  Braised tofu and Pork Mushroom Stew.

Since the Orchid Garden Kuching was near by the JomHeboh or at DUN Sarawak at Petra Jaya, So we decided to pay a visit to the garden.  It was the first time Me and Ling came to this garden.  Alot of Nice Orchid were displayed here and the entrance is free by now. 

After work, Me, Ling, UncleLim and his girlfriend Joana went to JomHeboh, where by the event was held at the car park beside the Sarawak Stadium. The weather was fine (Hot) during that time and alot of people and the traffic was jammed around 4pm. – 5pm.  Luckily we reached there around 3pm.  Alot of booth was setup and the participant like Hotlink, Perodua, TV3 and etc was there.

Bought 2 cooking books last week. So, Ling and I decide to try few dishes in side the book.  the result can be consider good but still can improve in some area. hehe…

Scrambled Eggs with Prawns. 虾仁炒蛋 ( My result )

Minced meat and potato. 肉末马铃薯 ( Ling’s result )

Pork ribs soup with winter melon and barley. 薏仁冬瓜排骨汤  ( Ling’s result)

After work, Ling and Me went to Myst Cafe at Premier 101. Same row with Little Cafe kopitiam.  The food and drink was nice and the price was reasonable.  The portion of food was okie.  hehe … The enviroment was abit dark, until I have to set Ling’s camera into High ISO (3200) , so that I can take more clearer picture.

Shepherd’s Pie – Mushroom Chicken. Nice … Is Free! (Actual Price: RM3)..hehe … Wrong sending by waitress.  Thank you.

This is the correct one. Sheperd’s Pie – Tomato Beef Salsa – RM3. Nice as well.

Mushroom Chicken Chop. RM6 … Nice.  Most people use French fries, but Myst Cafe use fried yum stick. Good idea. Different from others.

Black Pepper Lamb Fried Rice. RM4. Nice, Oily? not quite. :)

Potato Cup. RM3 .. Nice as well.

Total RM21 and 4 dishes 2 drinks for 2 person. Reasonable.

婚约感恩礼后，晚上到Grand Margherita 酒店进餐。
