We drove back to Sarikei before Chinese New Year Eve this year. It is fun to drive your own compare to using the long distance public transport. Listen to my favourite music and stop and rest where ever I want. :D It took me 5 hours drive to reached Sarikei. :P
We stop and rest a while at a small town called Lachau. There is a small market that sold variety of foods and handicrafts.
During New Year Eve, Her Brother decided to put up 8 long firecrackers. Wow, interesting. Normally, I just put up 1 or 2. This must be fun.
The Reunion dinner started soon after the amazing firecracker show. hehe ... Lots of satisfaction, smile and laughter. Huat Ah!!!

X'mas is coming. Have you though of what gift to buy yet? Have you received any X'mas gift yet? Have you plan how to celebrate yet? hehe ... The celebration and the joy is everywhere now. Received a gift from my cousin. A product he designed, "X'mas tree in the air". What an idea he had. Using Air Plant as X'mas tree. Very different and nice right? You can decor work space or study table or anyway you want to put it. You just need little bit of water, little bit of sunshine and say no to soil. Clean and easy. A moment of scared last night. While she was bowling some water, the glass toping of the gas stove suddenly crack due to faulthy gas stove nozzel. Luckily we were inside the house. We then quickly disconnect the gas stove from the gas tank. Phew~~~ ... Really doubt about the quality of the gas stove now a day. Haiiii ...

Upon reached Damai Beach, Didn't know that they had built a view point and a food court here. Nice. So, after visited Sarawak Cultural Village, we all take a walk at the view point just opposite the Sarawak Cultural Village before we all heading to Buntal for dinner.

Buntal has alot of seafood restaurant but this one was always we tried for. Food was nice and fresh.

It's like how many years I didn't visit the Sarawak Cultural Village until my company organized a trip to the place due to the Company's Annual Conference. We have a nice weather during the visit and good to have an ice breaking time among the colleagues. Hai ya, UncleLim (http://unclelimphotography.blogspot.com/) no come, he went to ice breaking with his wedding photographer. hehe
