With Canon S3IS in my hand, I took a walk at the street near by waterfront that day and catched some photos.


Need to find toilet first before I start walking around. Excuse me. :)

Cream Puffs

Baking cream puff for her to eat as she like it very much.

Ingredients for dough:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 tsp of salt
1 cup of flour
4 eggs


1) Pre-heat the microwave oven to 200 degree Celsius. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
2) In a cooking bowl, combine water, butter and salt. Bring it to boil.
3) Add in all the flour and stir vigorously until mixture cook and turn into a ball. Remove from heat and set aside to cool down.

4) Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Whisk the 4 eggs in another bowl. Add in bit by bit to the dough and mixing it well after each addition.
5) Pipe about 3-inch of dough into the baking sheet and bake for about 35 minutes or until cream puffs are brown.


Ingredients for cream:
1 tsp of vanilla essence
1/2 cup of sugar
3 tbsp of flour
3 tbsp of cornflour
2 cups of milk
4 egg yolks

1) Mix the egg yolks and sugar until combined. Add in both flour and mix them well. Add in the milk and stir until everything combined.
2) Cook and stir the mixture until thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. Transfer mixture to a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for about 2 hours before using.
3) cut the puffs in the middle and fill it with the cream. Simply dust it with some Icing sugar and you done.
